However, its current limitations can be addressed by integrating Gemini, a language model, and Extensions, which were successfully implemented in Samsung keyboards. This proposal aims to bring these features to Gboard, improving productivity, efficiency, and overall user satisfaction.

Background Information

The concept of Extensions was first introduced in Samsung keyboards, providing users with additional functionality beyond the standard keyboard features. These integrations have proven to be highly beneficial, allowing users to access relevant information, send money, edit clips, and improve language skills without leaving the keyboard app. The absence of these features in Gboard creates a significant gap that this proposal seeks to fill.

Key Features and Benefits

The proposed integration of Gemini and Extensions into Gboard will enable users to:

Send Money Directly: Integrate GPay into Gboard, allowing users to send money directly from the keyboard app, eliminating the need to navigate between apps.
Example: Users can quickly send a limited amount (e.g., ₹2,000) to a friend without having to search for their number and navigate through multiple screens.
LanguageTool: Integrate an open-source language tool, such as LanguageTool, into Gboard to correct spelling and grammar mistakes in real-time.

Information Access: Integrate Gemini's AI-powered language model to provide users with relevant information on a wide range of topics.

Practical Examples.
Password Protection : Some contents were stored in the personal dictionary But If We enter it, that was really added without any protection if my friends or someone try to take the advantage in that it will be reckless. So there should be an option to add a password or face lock or fingerprint to protect these details while pasting.
Mouse Integration : Sometimes Samsung Keyboard is best for mouse tracking and doing while Google Mouse tracking sometime not good. They can even use this mouses tracking in the board to place the cursor and copy using two fingers to the sentence like that, it would be a great helpful for the peoples to use the g board.

NOTE : These Ideas were already implemented in the Samsung and Apple keyboard. In Samsung, they have the Grammarly, but instead Google can use the open source tool called LanguageTool, which is free and can integrate with the Gemini to perform the actions more.
Also, there is no Documentation and reference to this, It was clearly based on the users aspects and their ideas.
