I don't think this is related to Gradle itself. This is how Android handles resources.

Problem you have encountered:
There is already a default app engine configured in the project, which is empty and preventing the configuration of a new app.
What you expected to happen:
i would like to delete the existing app engine from the project "ch*******ry" to run new app engine.
