Description
For another android user(not me), I could see a defect on your Google playstore payment system.
Phone: Samsung
OS: Android 14
UseCase: Android In-App Subscription
Issue:
Playstore subscription does not auto-deduct money from GooglePlay Balance and payment fails if subscription is of type "initial n months free, and then some subscription amount". After the initial free months, the subscription fails on payment to auto-deduct from play store balance, and hence subscription expires automatically.
The primary payment method is set as Google Play Balance, and secondary as none.
I asked the user to re-confirm payment methods, but again the payment failed and it did not work.
Finally, I asked the user to re-subscribe again(different subscription id), and it worked with out any problem and deducted subscription amount from playstore balance immediately.
This is a defect on your platform and payment systems.
Note:
For the same user for another feature, when subscription is like "some amount from initial subscription time", it works perfect.
It deducts subscription amount from playstore balance immediately when subscribed, and continues to work properly.
This is the reason why it worked while re-subscribing on the earlier case.
