We have identified the issue with this and what type of projects it would affect. We are currently working on a fix for this, and will let you know which versions can have this fix available in. Thank you for the report.
As a quick fix: please do select the unit test option when having the prompt shown with 2 options to run either Android Tests or unit tests (as shown below in the screenshot). If you don't get this prompt and you only see the option to run the tests, then please make sure you delete any existing configuration for that specific test and try again.
