Description

I'm following the documentation found here (https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/reference/rest/v1/users/stop#http-request) for stopping the delivery of push notifications, but my webhook endpoint is still receiving the push notifications.

Code

1. Add my auth token credentials
2. Send a POST request to https://gmail.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/me/stop

Output

The response I receive is - Status: 204 No Content.

Steps

• Configure a topic & subscription on Google Cloud.
• Use the following scopes for the project:

1. .../auth/gmail.labels
2. .../auth/userinfo.email
3. .../auth/userinfo.profile
4. https://mail.google.com/

• Send a POST request to /v1/users/me/watch with the topicName, labelIds, and labelFilterBehavior set in the request body.
• Later on, send a request to v1/users/me/stop
