Description
Upon checking I observed that the error message regarding the "roles/bigquery.jobUser" role means that this specific role is designed for controlling access at the project or dataset level. It is not designed to be applied directly to a service account.
BigQuery Job User (roles/bigquery.jobUser) Provides permissions to run jobs, including queries, within the project. Lowest-level resources where you can grant this role: Project
bigquery.config.get bigquery.jobs.create dataform.locations.* dataform.repositories.create dataform.repositories.list resourcemanager.projects.get resourcemanager.projects
After checking with SME confirm that BQ Job User role is granted at the project level. Not supported on a SA basis.
Question: customer is requesting for the roles "BigQuery Job User " should be available at service account level which is a new feature as of now and want to know when will this be available?
