Description
Row-level access control, like PostgreSQL's Row-Level Security, simplifies data migration and architectural design.
Customers migrating from traditional relational databases often expect row-level or other object-level access controls, which are standard features in those systems.
Row-level access control can enhance tenant-level security within a table-separated multi-tenant architecture [1]. This approach can reduce the management overhead and financial costs associated with multi-tenancy while maintaining security. This need has been reported both internally and externally [2].
