boot, maybe because i had a custom launcher installed -> Niagara Launcher
‧ Home Screen – Apps on Google Play
<
If i try a normal boot, i can see that screen goes off probably because the
launcher is failing? im not sure. Im trying to give you as much as info as
possible.
However i figured that SAFEMODE should disable such 3rd party launchers and
launch with default google launcher.

Description
Known issue -> / Or similar
Im not sure if 16kB mode is similar to safe mode. But currently safe_mode on the pixel 8 on the QPR2x beta and above does not work, touch screen is off, and the ONLY thing possible is the POWER off menu (Lock , restart Power OFF)
* Issue has not been reported for Pixel 8 device, or similar.
* Are you an Android developer?" (Y/N) -> N
* Which Android Beta build are you using? See Settings > About phone > Build number (for example AP31.240617.009).
-> Current Android Build upgraded from QPR3x -> Baklava/BP22.250103.008/12932282
* Is this a regression from Android 15? -> Not sure, probably yes
* What device are you using? GSM Unlocked Pixel 8 (shiba)
* What are the steps to reproduce the problem? (Please provide the minimal reproducible test case.) Reboot to safemode via Volume down button
* Issue Category e.g. Framework (platform), NDK (platform), Hardware (CPU, GPU, Sensor, Camera), ART (platform), Runtime Permissions etc -> Touch screen / Blank / inactive when booting to safe mode. (possibly more Framework)
* What was the expected result?- Active Stable Safemode
* Can you provide the API document where this expected behavior is explained?
* What was the actual result?
* Relevant logcat output. Not available
