A work-around is proposed in StackOverflow:
Description
In addition, I noticed that an offloaded spatializer effect is in place to get the 6-channel input spatialized.
So does it mean that the spatializer audio HAL on Pixel 9 must work with an offloaded audio spatializer to spatialize 6-channel audio into stereo audio? Is it possible to configure the spatializer audio HAL on Pixel 9 to accept stereo audio (already spatialized by AP spatializer) instead?
$ adb shell dumpsys media.audio_flinger
