16kB pages. It does the reboot to reformat when I pick 16KB pages the
first time. After the reboot, I pick 16KB pages again on Android 15 QPR3
and it does the same failure as with Android 15 QPR2 (the error in the
title of this ticket)
Its odd that thats broken in Android 15 QPR2/QPR3 while Android 16 QPR1
does let me go to 16KB pages on this device using the same procedure.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we can't reproduce the issue with this build. We tried with 2 different caiman devices.
Can you work with Android 16 QPR1 in the meantime?

Basically, I had it enrolled in the Beta program, where the Pixel 8pro I
have I did not.
So, after seeing that you had two devices that worked, I figured that yours
were most likely not enrolled in the beta program (since thats for external
people)... so I de-enrolled the device, flashed it back to android 15
release, then back to 15 QPR2, then did the dance to get it into 16KB mode
and it _worked_ !!!

Pawan - can you continue looking into this, maybe add a more explicit error in the dialogue with the failure reason?
OP - if you reproduce this, please check if any pending OTAs need to be taken. We have not heard of other reports of this, and we do have data that it works in general in the beta program.

Android 16. I need the device to be on Android 15 for what I'm working on.
I could have let the beta program flash to the latest 16 I guess, and then
tried to go from there, but didnt take that path.
