Description
Dear YouTube Support Team,
I am writing to seek clarification and discuss the current rate limits imposed on the YouTube Data API. As per the documentation, I understand that there are three main quotas:
Queries per day: 100,000
Queries per minute: 720
Queries per minute per user:720
Although I understand that these limits are in place to ensure fair and efficient use of the API, I would like to better understand the reasoning behind the specific values chosen for these limits. Additionally, how much can we increase the quotas for these three types? If possible, how should I apply for a quota increase?
- Expected limits
Queries per day: 1,000,000
Queries per minute: 3,000
Queries per minute per user: 720
