NOTE: This is not an bug that will require a bugreport, this is an compatiblity issue, maybe software restriction in modem firmware that should be fixed, please refrain from asking for bugreport/logcat as it has no use in this report. I have already provided all relevant information in this ticket, Also please DO NOT ghost users facing this issue, also fyi - BSNL is 100% Indian goverment owned carrier. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSNL_Mobile . Govt has asked all phone manufacturers in India should comply with n28B availablity on their devices, it's a pity that a 100$ Xiaomi phone supports n28B 700Mhz and not a 600$ Pixel! Even iPhones work seamlessly with n28B band.

Thanks for your request. We will investigate this issue and see if we can implement the behavior you've requested.

As an additional alternative, it should be possible to specify a label in the options for GmailApp.sendEmail().

Looking forward to having this implemented. As has been mentioned automatic threading based on subject is a big no-no for our enterprise. We get automated reports and other documents sent to us by customers and suppliers and they are lumped together in threads making it very difficult for me to let Apps Script process them automatically since labels (i.e. outlook folders) have to be applied to entire threads (even though the messages in these threads often need to be treated differently).

Please add this function (and message.getlabel too) we need to scan message not only the thread.

Will there be any progress on this issue? Threading is great for humans, but if you are scripting, accessing and manipulating individual messages is MUCH more important, especially if it can be done from the normal user interface. Anything you can do to the thread you should be able to do at the message level.

Hi Google Team, Please Look into this as Govt of India has told that you have to comply with them and release devices with Band 28B supported, if this band is locked by software please unlock it, Band 28"B" 700Mhz 4G/5G band
Description
NOTE: n28 band has two categories: n28A & n28B, BSNL uses n28B.
---
**Steps to reproduce:**
1. Insert a BSNL SIM card with 4G access into the Pixel 7/8 device.
2. Ensure the area is covered by BSNL's 700 MHz (n28B) LTE spectrum.
3. Observe that the Pixel 7/8 does not connect to the 700 MHz band, it only connects to 2100Mhz Band 1.
4. Insert the same SIM into another phone (tested on Samsung Galaxy S23) and observe the successful connection to 700 MHz.
---
**What happened:**
Pixel 7/8 does not connect to BSNL's 700 MHz (n28B) LTE band, though other devices using the same network in the same area connect successfully.
---
**Expected behavior:**
Pixel 7/8 should connect to the 700 MHz LTE network as it is a premium band and available on BSNL's network. This should improve network coverage and speeds, as experienced on other devices. BSNL has deployed 4G only on 2 bands, Band 1 (2100Mhz) & Band 28B (700Mhz), Since we dont have support of Band 28B on Pixels, It renders phone useless as 2100Mhz does not have good coverage, but 700Mhz does. I don't know if n28B is restricted by software or not, please enable it if it's restricted by S/W.
---
**Device and Android version:**
- Device: Google Pixel 7 (GVU6C), Google Pixel 8 (GPJ41)
- Android Version: 15 (Feb 2025 Security Patch)
---
**Is this a security-related issue?**
No.
---
**Note:**
I have verified that the issue is not with BSNL's network as the same network and band n28B connects fine on another devices.
