Hello,
This issue report has been forwarded to the Cloud BigQuery Product team so that they may investigate it, but there is no ETA for a resolution today. Future updates regarding this issue will be provided here.
Description
we are heavily relying on
There is a gap of tracability between Looker Studio and Connected Google Sheets
- With Looker Studio, each BQ Job is tagged with a label key:looker_studio_report_id and value:id of the looker studio
- With Connected Sheets, each BQ Job is tagged with a label key:sheets_connector and value:connected_sheets
The Looker Studio approach is far more usefull : we can easily identify which report has generated the query but with google sheets it is a lot more difficult since we don't have to sheets id (which exists and is available in the URL of Google Sheets)
Can you please add more details through labels on BQ Jobs coming from Google Sheets ? The idea would be to keep the label key:sheets_connector but to change the value to the sheet_id (like value:1nPh_pReZgTwU23uwQIrIoqTlIpqiZk-VpDnXDZ9n34sdds) ?
This would help to manage big query usage
