In order to diagnose this I think we will need more information.
Can you clarify if this happens for a new Native C++ project without any changes to it? Would it be possible for you to share an Android Studio project where you see this issue?

I'm unsure if it's due to us having
android.nonTransitiveRClass=true
but auto completion forR
files is mostly broken. TypingR
doesn't immediately show suggestions forR
files. After about 10-12sR
files do show up.Android Studio used to have a feature where, if you typed
R.string.
it would suggest strings from all transitive modules and then use the correctR
file. This feature seems no longer to be working at all.This is using
Android Studio Meerkat | 2024.3.1 RC 2
