In version 1.4.0 of the recyclerview library, you added support for paging using KEYCODE_PAGE_DOWN / KEYCODE_PAGE_UP (see https://android-review.googlesource.com/c/platform/frameworks/support/+/2244794). We have a large application for Android TV and we have a remote control that has buttons that are mapped to those keycodes. Unfortunately, the default paging behavior doesn't really work for us, because we have a lot of custom scrolling logic that already handles these keys.

Unfortunately, it seems like there's no good way to disable / skip this functionality. It would be great, if you make this paging behavior configurable with a flag or something like that.
