**Chrome version:*133.0.6943.132 Official Build 64-Bit* (found at chrome://version, labelled "Google Chrome")
**Chrome OS version:*16151.47.0 Official Build Stable Channel reven* (found at chrome://version, labelled "Platform")
**Device:*HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7* (e.g. "HP Chromebook x2")
**Reproduction steps:**
1. Turn on the laptop with the screen partly closed or partly open and you will find that the built in keyboard and trackbad are disabled along with the hardware power button
2. After powering down the computer you will have to open the screen all the way folded to tablet config and then close it again, before reopeining to reactivate the hardware power button. Then sometimes on boot it will be in laptop mode, sometimes in tablet mode.
**Expected behaviour:*The convertable laptop should enable tablet mode only when the screen is folded open all the way, and turn off when unfolded*
**Actual behaviour:*Tablet mode is randomly stuck on, and keyboard/trackpad is disabled even after it is turned off. Also CTRL+Alt+Shift+T does not disable tablet mode*
**Extra details:**
If the bug involves an external device (like a mouse or drawing tablet), please state the manufacturer and model name.
