After changing the device settings to Greek, Chrome recognizes "Kalispera" as Greek. When I change the device settings to English, Chrome recognizes "Kalispera" as English.
@jdonnelly,Could you please confirm to the reporter if it is intentional or not?

If I speak "Διαδήλωση για τα Τέμπη" meaning demonstration for the Tempi (train crash), Chrome searches for "The Avilocyte Debbie" or something phonetically similar. It will not check the secondary language.
Description
In Chrome for Android, the voice search feature (microphone button in the address bar) only recognizes speech in the primary device language. If the device language is set to Greek, voice search does not understand English, even if English is added as a secondary language in the system settings, and vice versa. This makes it difficult for multilingual users to perform searches in multiple languages.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set the device language to Greek in Android settings.
2. Open Chrome for Android.
3. Tap the microphone icon in the address bar.
4. Speak in English (e.g., "What is the weather today?").
Expected result:
Chrome should recognize and process the spoken English query correctly.
Actual result:
Chrome does not understand the English speech and fails to process the query.
Additional information:
Device model: SM-T575
Android version: 13
Chrome version: 133.0.6943.137
Languages added in system settings: Greek, English.
Workarounds tried:
Changing the primary device language to English → Works, but not practical.
Using Gboard voice input → Works.
Impact:
This affects multilingual users who need to perform searches in multiple languages without constantly changing the device's primary language.
