These changes would be really nice! Being able to change the text colour is really important as it now doesn't match the rest of our app either.

Steps to reproduce the problem
Problem Description
Unable to get innerText from textarea element. It is likely that both Chromium and Firefox have the same bug. Internet Explorer 11 hasn't.
