Description
I am not sure if this is the best place to report this, so I do apologize if there is a better way.
This is an issue concerning the Chrome Browser/ChromeOS release notes documentation that is found here:https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7679408
At the bottom of this page is a button to sign up for email notifications when new releases are published.
Since the Chrome Browser and ChromeOS release notes are now published seperately, I have observed that the email notification is only sent when the Chrome Browser release notes are published. No notification is sent when the now seperated ChromeOS release notes are published.
In addition to this the wording of the notification that is received is now inaccurate as it references both Chrome Browser and ChromeOS as having updated release notes available.
Below is an example of the messaging included in the notification I received last week, noting that ChromeOS v134 release notes are not yet published.
Not a big issue, but it is a useful workflow item that would be beneficial to a lot of administrators.
Thanks!
