Sadly I want no info window at all. For now the trick is to create a 0px * 0px view in my own InfoWindowAdapter.

I have tried the workaround of a 0 sized view as below, but the view actually takes up the whole width of the map and half the height (i.e. all the space above the Marker) - which stops all user interaction with the top half of the map. (If you call show then hide then the Marker is placed back to it's original z-order).

More information
when you search the screen goes black but does not do it all the time. a Google symbol will pop up then when goes away screen black.

Every chrome native pages and Web pages are drawing under display cutout in landscape mode
What actually happened?
Neither native Chrome pages nor web pages are rendered in the display cutout area in landscape mode. The display cutout remains black.
What was the effect of this issue on your device usage, such as lost time or work?

DrawCutoutEdgeToEdge chrome feature flag has no effect.
Even your recent guide about migrating to edge to edge Web content has no mention about display cutout in landscape mode.
Why is it possible on Chrome for iOS but not possible in Chrome for Android?
