The fingerprint reader for my phone barely works if at all. Everytime I try to open up one of many apps with the fingerprint reader, the fingerprint reader does not recognize my fingerprint.

Recommendations:

use only google SP
remove any SP and re-enroll all fingers
make sure to enroll the whole area of the finger during enrollment
make sure hands/screen are clean
aim at the fingerprint icon and press firmly
keep finger steady during scan

If the issue persists after following these recommendations, please upload a new bugreport. It would be helpful if you share the device's serial number so we can check the factory calibration data and see if any settings are causing the issue.

How to get the device serial number:

- Settings > About phone > Model.
- Dial *#06# in the phone’s dialer app.
