Digging around a bit, it appears WebKit itself doesn't handle authentication at all.
Instead, it would appear on Android that the package org.apache.http.auth does this.

Problem you have encountered:
500 INTERN AL server error when using the python sdk to make a batch prediction request on gemini models (both 1.5 and 2.0).
What you expected to happen:
It was working for a long time
