I had the same problem!
I could solve it by putting the .aidl file in an aidl directory.
Look at the attached screenshot to see the project structure.

Description
Please describe your requested enhancement. Good feature requests will solve common problems or enable new use cases.
What you would like to accomplish:
In Cx's organisation they are restricting workloads to nodepools using taints and tolerations. This is not possible for RootSyncs or RepoSyncs.
Can support be added to RootSyncs and RepoSyncs spec for tolerations?
How this might work:
Tolerations needs to be added in RootSyncs and RepoSyncs
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
Nodepools use taints and tolerations, but not in RootSyncs and RepoSyncs.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
Cx has raised a request in
And TSE mentioned that the feature is currently on our roadmap and we plan to add support for this in the near future.
