This will create a feature request which anybody can view and comment on.
Please describe your requested enhancement. Good feature requests will solve common problems or enable new use cases.
Problem you have encountered:
We have a cluster with several node pools (6-7), from our understanding, the automatic upgrade won't be able to upgrade another node pool while the first node pool did not complete the upgrade. Therefore, an automatic upgrade of the whole cluster of 7 node pools would take 49 days (7 node pools with each of them having a 7 days soak duration).
What you expected to happen / How this might work:
We want to configure the timing when the nodepools are upgraded, e.g. upgrade all the nodepools at the same time.
What you would like to accomplish:
We want to configure a parameter where we can specify a set of node pools to upgrade at the same time.
