Boot time is atrocious, Just rebooted and timed it:

Mine was finally resolved by a full factory reset. Before, that, the phone was restarting every 5 minutes, and was always really hot

I have a Pixel 3xl and when I was using the phone it started getting bogged down all of a.sudden and then the touchscreen became unresponsive. I was only scrolling through the news feed. I gave it a minute then restarted the phone. Now it's stuck on the startup screen with the "g" logo and won't progress past that. Is there anything I can try before having to do a factory reset? Or the very least get my files onto a computer?

IF you succeed to get it to the home screen for a few seconds (unlock and decrypt the phone), AND you have usb debugging enabled, you can copy your data using "adb pull"

This just happened to a Pixel 3a, its been stuck for the past hour or so.

Pixel 5: run into the issue twice. First time on July 14th, resolved after an hour or so, not sure what fixed it. Second time starting on July 18th and still has not resolved. Left it on the G logo for 5 hours and it did not get past that stage.

Oddly enough, this happens with my Pixel5 but only at airports. 2 different airports on 3 occasions. Putting it in airplane mode is the only way to keep my phone from crashing. Carrier is Verizon.

pixel 4, same issue, but worse, after upgrading to beta release 3 (SPB3.210618.013) phone was fine for just under 24hrs, no issues at all. Then randomly rebooted twice, first time was ok and booted OS, but second time is stuck at loading 'G' icon and is now on an infinite bootloop. Note my bootloader is locked. I had left the phone alone until it drained battery, charged it for 10min, booted it, no change. Tried rebooting from recovery, and sideloading OTA multiple times with no change. I left phone alone for more than almost 24hrs on charge but still doesn't seem to boot properly. Also going to: https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/ and trying that says the update with 'G' logo and loading bar, package is too new for recovery tool.
Trying to avoid factory reset, it'll be last resort. So will wait until beta release 4 and see if side loading that will let the phone boot. Also recovery log seems normal. My own fault for going in for beta release.

My 4a restarted by itself and for more than 10minutes was stuck on the G logo.
Forcing a restart did nothing. I had to sideload the beta3 ota zip (didn't need to wipe data) and came back to life.
Worth noting that restarting the phone or turning it off and on takes a lot on beta 3. Like 4 to 5 minutes. That's concerning.
I'll probably do a factory reset when a new beta arrives or on the stable version.

I found that if I plugged in my 4a to charge, forced it into recovery mode, and then rebooted it normally it *eventually* moved past the G logo and successfully booted. Maybe my scenario is an outlier, but I've done this 4 times now and it has been successful each time

Pixel 4 XL stuck in infinite boot loop.....no command in Recovery or Rescue mode

Same issue here with my Pixel 4 XL. My battery died last night and I haven't been able to start my phone since then, it gets stuck at the Google logo. I tried sideloading the OTA in recovery twice but no luck. Also tried plugging in, going into recovery and rebooting many many tines, no luck there either.

We seem to have conflated the following, possibly related, issues here. Could you confirm which issues are fixed and when a new build may be available?
- Bootlooping
- Slow booting
- Getting stuck at the G logo and not booting at all
My issue is the last one, if that's not the one fixed here, I'd look for the one to follow or open a new one.

I've noticed this reboot loop might be related to low battery level.

Mine reboots when I change from 4g LTE/5g (Verizon national) to 5G Ultra
wide Band . It will also not connect to a tower during this time . It boots
to my home screen and with in 30 seconds reboots . It will do this until I
drive out of the Ultra Wide Band towers that end right at my road. It has
happened every night as I drive home. If it doe not restart it just
continuously trust to find a tower which is does not during that area .
Once out of it , the phone works as expected. Pixel 5

Updated to today's rolled out beta 3.1 which is supposed to be fixing the bootloop. Before the update, bootloops did not happen. After updating, my Pixel 4XL is stuck on the "G" loading screen for over 20 minutes now. Battery was 7% before rebooting. Charging the Pixel 4XL does not fix the bootloop.

Had 3 restarts as soon as my phone registered 5G UW on my way home from
work . Stopped as soon as I got back to LTE . Update was applied around 330
. Restarts happened around 520 . It did however connect to the towers

Definitely fixed for me with my 4a: ~30s from tapping reboot to the beta notice.
If you're still having problems, then it may help to send fresh feedback with logs etc from beta 3.1.

Also fixed the issue on my 4a. My OTA update would not install, kept pausing even though my phone was idle. Sideloaded the OTA, installed and after final reboot - 30 seconds I was back up and running. I have restarted several times since then and each time it's actually about 25 seconds from the time I hit the "restart" to the Beta notification.

Same here I am stuck on the G boot screen.
This is what happened:
- Keyboard stopped popping up when clicking on text boxes.
- I decided to restart the phone.
- After restarting it got stuck on G boot screen.
- Waited 20min, then forced restart the phone by holding the power button. I also tried restarting the bootloader through the power volume (-) button screen.
