Hi, thanks for reaching out! I'm currently looking into this issue you're seeing with live streaming api endpoint. Will reach back with updates on this shortly.
Description
Even better, YouTube should provide a default (opt-out) mechanism that will normalize the audio levels in all newly-uploaded videos to something in the mid-range of volume, as an automatic adjustment to improve the end-user experience. That way, one can set the local-device audio level just once, and be assured that the audio track will always be listenable as successive videos are viewed. Come on, it can't be that hard; you guys can figure this out. In fact, it should be a fun project for your engineers. There should also be an option for content creators to have YouTube process previously-uploaded videos in this manner.
Maybe this isn't the right "channel" on which to submit this request, but Google makes it so opaque to find where to submit suggestions that it's Google's own fault for forcing me to do so here. Please forward this suggestion to the right people who can work on this feature.
