We are decommissioning the Legacy renderer of Maps SDK for Android on Android phones that meets the new renderer's requirements. The decommissioning will start in the beginning of April 2025. We will update this public issue entry once we have more details.

Note: Wear OS and Android Go devices continue to use the Legacy renderer until the Latest renderer is available to these devices. Please follow https://issuetracker.google.com/324503034.
