In Android.mk you can define individual files to be compiled in ARM mode by adding a '.arm' suffix to the file path:
LOCAL_SRC_FILES := foo.c bar.c.arm

I could not find a way to do this in a cmake file.

I notice the same issue and LogCat shows the following message:
Google Play services out of date. Requires 3159100 but found 3136130
