I just updated my phone from 6.0.1 to 7.0 ota. Now every time I press the power button to wake up the phone it requires swipe to unlock before I can enter my password or pattern on the lock screen. On marshmallow 6.0.1 it didnt require this extra step, the lock screen and notifications were on one screen, very useful.
I have tried disabling smartlock, still requires swipe and then lock screen. I tried selecting pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, still requires swipe and then lock screen. I tried swipe, requires swipe but no lock screen.
The only way to disable swipe is to select none, but this eliminates all security, not recommended.
This seems to be a bug that swipe remains when other screen locks are selected.
