I have reported this issue to the Cloud SQL Product Engineering team once again, although the team is already working on it and evaluating it in the best possible way. Any further updates on this issue will be communicated here. However, please note that there is no ETA or guarantee of implementation for this at the present moment. So, these extensions are available on AWS RDS and Azure and Supabase and Neon and... almost everyone other than Google where some of the smartest engineers on the planet need 6 and a half years of discussion to commit less than 10 lines of code to enable these extensions. It's just amazing how regressive GCP is with regards to responding to user requirements.
