Hi Team,
Checking to see if there is any update on this? One of my Enterprise Support customer is asking for it. Attaching service account to VMs and making an API call seem less than ideal for this usecase (https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/reference/rest/v1/instances ).

Hello Team,
Any update on this issue/request?
We have a utility we use internally for a large number of tasks. Pulling Instance Labels would be a huge step forward to providing better config management as well as auditing and patching activities. We already set Labels for all these types of tasks, but our utility requires the Instance itself to be able to access the Labels applied to the Instance.
Thanks!
