Yes please :) Along with a more specific definition of how the Popular Times are determined (how much history? done by mobile device activity? check ins?)

Making popular times available by day of the week would be awesome

It already is Jeffrey, you can toggle by day on mobile or desktop

Thank you for confirming.

@r22, I think Jeff is referring to the ability to split popular times by day of week in the information released by the API, not the currently existing web GUI.
Maybe the info appears as a nested object? e.g. "popular times" > "day of week" > "hour of day" > traffic count

What would you like to see us add to this API?
It would be much more useful for me if the API could take a timestamp parameter specified in UTC (perhaps "timestampUTC") and return the local time at that UTC timestamp. This would be useful because I most often want to know "what time is it at this lat/lng right now?" Or I want to know "what is the UTC offset for this UTC date?" so I can convert a future UTC timestamp I stored to the local time.
Currently, I have to load a list of DST changes from another file and just use this API to find out what timezone ID is at the given lat/lng. This is a lot of extra effort with much more breakage potential.
