As mentioned in my Stack Overflow post (

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50307264/kotlin-android-extensions-plug-in-doesnt-work-occasionally), the Kotlin Android Extension plug-in used for binding views doesn't work while writing code occasionally as in the view IDs I used for referencing prior to binding data onto them doesn't get recognized, so errors are thrown as shown in the attached screenshot. In the meantime, I have to clean and rebuild my project to continue where I left off of.

I'm pretty close to confirming that this issue is a bug since other fellow devs are experiencing the same thing.

Oh, and I'm using the latest Kotlin plug-in v1.2.41 for both my Gradle and IDE platform.

I'd like to add that from all developers in the office, only us that are using MacOS are encountering the issue, so it might be related to that

Probably related to window switching, For example after cmd+tab.

I found that if Android Studio is full screen, will not cause this problem.
