I followed the getting started android jetpack tutorial of this page, https://developer.android.com/jetpack/docs/getting-started/
even in the screenshot on the tutorial page shows a red X on the app ( near Run button ) that is because no module is found in configuration of the project, and I am also facing same problem, I had to create configuration myself and then in dropdown to select module there was no module to select from so now I cant even run this basic app.
