Come on, this is way too easy to add in. Disappointing. Been able to do this with other devices for YEARS.

Is this "infeasible" for legal reasons? Does Samsung have a patent on their implementation?
ta...@gmail.com <ta...@gmail.com> #7
Well certainly not infeasible for legal reasons, xiaomi has it too (for years actually). Also they don't want to implement system sound recording which is available in Samsung and xiaomi for god knows what reason

I am surprised why this feature hasn't been added to AOSP yet. All third-party manufacturers have added this feature in their ROMs.
ke...@gmail.com <ke...@gmail.com> #9
Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus have implemented this feature and they didn't felt it was infeasible !!!! Motorola and OnePlus uses near Stock Android, if they can do that then why not the actual Android team ????
al...@gmail.com <al...@gmail.com> #10
Implement it please.
ju...@gmail.com <ju...@gmail.com> #11
This sounds a lot like the same mistake Google made in taking far too long to implement copy & paste, emoji, and basic screenshots on Android.
ke...@gmail.com <ke...@gmail.com> #12
The VP of Android David Burke said it's a great idea. Then why are you saying it's infeasible????
