I would like to be able to suppress some warnings emitted during D8 desugaring, where a library includes a reference to a type needed for default or static interface methods desugaring. This often happens in libraries that do platform detection at runtime, so they might include references to interfaces that aren't available on Android, but these references will never get used at runtime when running on Android. This means the warnings are false-positives and I'd like to be able to suppress them.

Repro:
- Create new project using wizard in Android Studio 3.4 Canary 2
- Enable desugaring by adding this to the android block of the app/build.gradle file
compileOptions {
sourceCompatibility JavaVersion.VERSION_1_8
targetCompatibility JavaVersion.VERSION_1_8
}
- Add a dependency on an artifact that has classes implementing an interface not available in Android, for example add this to app/build.gradle dependencies block:
implementation 'com.squareup.okhttp3:okhttp:3.11.0'

- Run "Make project" from IDE or ./gradlew clean app:assemble from command-line.

Note that in the IDE build output a warning is emitted:

These are the types of warning I'd like to be able to suppress somehow.
