First off I am no computer or phone expert. I LOVE my wheres my droid app, but now with googles new policies it sucks and was such a great app!
I have a Kyocera Phone and now with the new google "security" crap the app is almost useless because of the lousy google policies.  I want to be able to text my phone and get it's location and info by texting the phone.  When I lose my phone I want to be able to locate it quickly and effortlessly.  That happens no more.  Can't text the app, can't even allow the app to allow permissions to SMS.

The app provides me security by being able to locate my phone immediately and easily with a text, but you block that now.  Your security updates just made me lose my security and safety net when I lose my phone now I have to be able to get online to find it which is VERY INCONVENIENT and time consuming and only gives security to whomever finds it by me not being able to find my phone thru Wheres my droid.  

Let me control my phone, I don't want googles help.  I don;t want the google assistant constantly asking me what i want it to do. I want it to go away and never come back and stop harassing me with all the google crap that I never use.  I HATE GOOGLE AND IT'S NOSY APPS THAT KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING i DO, WHERE i GO, AND HOW I USE MY PHONE.  THATS THE REAL SECURITY THREAT.  INTRUSIVE GOOGLE AND NOW YOU TAKE THE GREAT APPS AND MAKE THEM USELESS.    DEAR GOOGLE - STAY OUT OF MY APPS AND MY BUSINESS!
