To illustrate my issue

My phone is a Galaxy Note 9

I too paid for Call Recorder and now its core functionality of being able to see the contact information and or number for the call that got recorded is no longer there you know how frustrating it is to sit there and go through each call one by one because every log shows either "Outgoing call or Incoming call" where it once said the persons name or phone number, Like who's the genius at google who thought restricting this feature from apps was a good Idea? Seriously the person or department  responsable for this change should not be making decision's because it is obvious he/she is not in tuned with what everyday people use there phones and the need for apps that offer those features... This is Ridiculous I was once a proud Android promoter but after this - It's I really need to re-think wheather I can continue to be a android user but also promoting the brand because honestly this is BS

And my phone too is also a Galaxy Note 9 and its not a problem with my phone its a GOOGLE Problem, Better hope someone dont come up with another OS because I will for sure jump ship

Recently made switch to Chromebook and Galaxy S9+.  Love it.  Then you block access to caller ID.  Apple like move, and I don't mean that in a good way.  Need Call Recorder Pro for my business, so have begun researching whether to go back to Windows Os or Apple.  Killing this feature is a deal breaker. Please allow access and permissions before I have to spend more $!

Same problem on Galaxy S9+ with Call recorder, also affected Do not Disturb app, unable to auto send SMS in " do not disturb " mode.

All call recording apps and useful apps such as tasker are useless now and I paid for these apps...  Thanks Google.  Way to look out for your paying customers.
