Created for myself a better solution for managing the files in my app's private directory: a Mini WebDAV Server that's easy to integrate into any app in DEBUG mode only (or in any mode if one wants to). Now using a WebDAV client like WebDrive on my PC, I can mount my app's directory in an emulator as a virtual drive or directory and access it any way I want - from the native host File Explorer, from command line, create/edit files there etc.
Maybe it will be useful to others too. The WebDAV server has also an option to export all Android emulator or device storage. See:

On studio-main I am able to see hidden folders and files like .gitignore
. Narrowing this feature request scope to be for the drag and drop.
Description
Also, it would help me enormously if file drag and drop was enabled between the host system file explorer (Windows in my case) and the folders in Device File Explorer.
