This is not yet fixed and very, very dangerous bug (it has switched and bricked my phone on critical occasions). So far there are three locations that will brick my phone. Imagine not being able to call the emergency services. Please fix ASAP! (I will personally keep WIFI disabled to avoid this issue, but I think it should be prioritised for others which are not aware of this issue). Note that it is very hard to figure out the root cause of this issue, so users (if you search in google) are trying to fix it by removing 3rd party apps, factory reset, etc.
al...@gmail.com <al...@gmail.com> #22
I can confirm the issue is still present even with the latest Android update 12 (SP1A.210812.016.C2), please note that is a very serious bug that can easily bring the phone to an infinite bootloop sequence and brick it.
Please fix it.

Experiencing same problem here with a Android Blackview 8800 while trying to connect to the secure network of our school establishment. The crash happens ONLY with that network and no others. We don't experience this issue with older blackview models (9600 and 6600). This problem seems to date a lot...
