Description
My iOS app has buttons that when clicked will call openURL with a url like @"comgooglemaps://?saddr=&daddr=555+College+Way,+Dixon,+CA&directionsmode=driving". This has worked fine for years, but with the latest Google Maps app version 5.31.10, it just spins forever on the screen in the screenshot attached.
This only happens when Google Maps isn't running in the background, and has to launch to handle this request. If it is already running in the background, everything works normally without issue.
# What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure Google Maps isn't running in the background
2. In another app, click a button or link that generates a call to openURL with a url like @"comgooglemaps://?saddr=&daddr=555+College+Way,+Dixon,+CA&directionsmode=driving"
3. You'll be redirected to the Google Maps app, but be spinning forever like in the screenshot attached
# Details about your environment
