Hi,
Are you talking about a published app, or an app in dev mode (in Appsscript)?
Thanks

Installing an add-on from G suite Marketplace (in another tab), requires that the target page (gmail, spreadsheets, docs etc) be refreshed after installation.
If you are installing the add-on from the widget, the menu should show. However there is an ongoing issue at the moment, please refer to the following bug for updates:

I dont see this behavior is happening on other add-ons like "Hunter For Sheets", installing other add-ons from marketplace able to display all menus without require to refresh the spreadsheet. This issue seriously affects the first time user experience without fixing this we can't launch the product for a larger audience.
Btw, I'm not familiar with widget nor require at this time to explore. Seems the link shared is internal google tracker, no signup available.

Any news on this one. Experiencing exact the same thing. Menu Items for add-on show up nicely when dry-running, but after install (domain only) they do not show up.

Same with me: The onInstall(e) function is not executed.
Description
Post-install the "Clearout For Sheets" add-ons, the menu options show only the "Help" menu item but not the "Open" menu item, but after refreshing the same sheet the menu item "Open" shows up. I even tested with all Authmode types, its all fine but installing from GSuite marketplace is noticing an issue. Btw, code committed version also mentioned corrected in the G Suite Marketplace configuration.
