Clicking near the marker but not exactly on the marker triggers onMarkerClick callback.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Add marker on a map:

    val location = LatLng(37.775693, -122.432645)
    val zoom = 13f
    mapView.getMapAsync { map ->
        map.moveCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.newLatLngZoom(location, zoom))
   
        map.addMarker(MarkerOptions()
                .position(location)
                .icon(BitmapDescriptorFactory.defaultMarker())
        )
   
        map.setOnMarkerClickListener {
            Toast.makeText(this, "onMarkerClick!", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show()
            true
        }
    }
   

2. Click on a map near the marker, but not exactly on the marker. Notice that onMarkerClick callback is triggered.

Also add the following details:

• Device (and version of Android) you have verified this issue on: Pixel XL, Android 10
• Google Play Services client library version: 17.0.0
• Google Play Services version on the device: 20.26.14
• Android SDK Version: 29
• Was this working correctly on a previous version of Google Play Services? (If yes, which client library and SDK version?) - don't know.

Also attach screenshots, sample code and optionally an APK if possible.

If the problem exhibits itself in a released version of your app on the Play Store, optionally provide a link to the app, and explain how to reproduce the issue in the app.
