Hi Team,

• Studio Build: Android Studio 4.1.0
• Version of Gradle Plugin: This happens with both agp 4.0.1 and 4.1.0
• Version of Gradle: 6.5 and 6.7
• Version of Java: 1.8
• OS: MacOS Catalina

Issue details

We have 2 flavors(build variant) called A and B. we want to build for flavor B and we select it. When running our application it builds the application with flavor A and ignores the selection.

Steps taken by dev

When adding in the B flavor isDefault true things start to work with 2 major obstacles Sometimes the application is stuck in flavor A even flavor B is selected. In this case we need to switch to flavor A and then flavor B back When switching branches the whole stuff starts from the beginning.

Please advise on this issue.
