The same problem with emulator. It's impossible to work in this IDE.

IMPORTANT: Please read
There is problem with connection to TV box after updating of Android Studio to Arctic Fox.
The device is connected by adb command but in one case there is no the device in list of running devices in AS, in another case the device is in the list, but I cannot select debuggable process in AS.
