I'm not able to reproduce this issue. Deleting an item (photo or video) from an album and moving it to the trash changes the mediaItemsCount
value returned for the album as expected.
A few follow up questions that might help us understand the issue:
- Can you please clarify the exact steps you are taking to reproduce this issue.
- How was the album created?
- How did you add items to the album?
- How did you delete the items? (Are you doing this from viewing the album or from the library itself?)
- Does the same issue occur when deleting other items? (E.g. a photo or different video?)
Thanks for your help!
Description
In my GooglePhotos album there is a photo and screen recording RPReplay_Final1629374217.mp4 (this video size 30 MB).
I deleted files to the trash can several times, returned from the trash to the album. And once when I returned the RPReplay_Final1629374217.mp4 file from the basket, the number of items in the album stopped matching. Before I return this file from the trash, the album displays 659 items, and there are actually 659 items in that album.
After I return only RPReplay_Final1629374217.mp4 video from the cart, the number of items that are displayed is already 665 (although it should be 660)
And when I go to the album and select all the photos, it displays "660 selected"
