@ comment#3 Please add this feature, Google. It's been a thing in custom ROMs (and I think OneUI) for ages. It will only improve the UX. And it won't be hard to implement. Look at all my bug reports. I know what I'm talking about. I've experienced so many bugs and I know so much about good UX by now that I might really be helpful for your company. Just look at all my bugreports (over 100) from the last few months and see for yourself. Listen to this person. He is right. We need an adaptive brightness switch for the brightness slider.

Description
In the pulldown shade the slider for the screen brightness only lets you manually change the brightness with no option to allow adaptive brightness to take over. Either have a button for it in the shade or let the user long press the brightness bar to access the display settings.
