Addendum: After getting help from someone else on the team, it turns out that the failure was because of some security certificate issue that was somehow side-affecting my network capabilities (I could visit websites, but couldn't do some corp network stuff).
After fixing that, the download worked.
I think the bug is still worth thinking about: my problem wasn't that there was a network issue, but that the failure in Studio told me nothing about what I was supposed to do, including what file that download was listed in, or what might be causing the issue. So it's maybe more of a usability issue than a Studio failure per se. I'll crank the priority down.

Description
Could not install Gradle distribution from '
So I downloaded a new one (BumbleBee) from the Studio site, and the same project causes the same error.
I can believe that I have something out of date in that project (which I zipped and copied from a different system).
What I have a hard time with is that Studio issues this error with no recommendation about what to do about it.
It shows this error in the Build errors area. I click on the link in the error and that downloads that gradle zip file just fine (though I don't know what to do with it).
So I'm stuck with a project that won't build, won't run, won't help me figure out how to make it do any of that.
But it turns out that this goes beyond my zipped/copied project.
In the same Studio instance, I created a new Basic Activity, which now gives me the same error. Gradle won't sync, project, won't build... nothing.
