As an OS that allows apps to work in the background (and have plenty of apps that do it) it's important to have notifications turned on by default, to tell the user about the progress, and more importantly : about errors.
Description
This is important for these cases:
1. Error notifications.
2. Foreground services information
3. Future notifications that could be important
Please make the new notification permission an opt-in feature , so that only if the user wants, he can turn it on and have a confirmation for the notification approval.
When it's turned off (and that's the default behavior), this permission should automatically be granted for the newly installed app.
