Description
I'm sure this has been reported multiple times so apologies if there's a better issue already. But, with AS Preview Beta 4 and previously the production version of AS it is constantly 'forgetting' the databinding classes that are auto-generated.
It happens so much that I have to have a keyboard command to 'sync project with gradle files' - which will fix the issue. But, only to lose it again before long.
I'm not sure how I can help diagnose or reproduce this issue. My project isn't overly complicated - just a single module. 99% of the code is in Java with a few Kotlin dependancies.
I'm enabling viewBinding in my build.gradle file:
The 2 attachments just show the databinding files not found and then found after doing a 'sync project with gradle files'
Please advise as it's really annoying to have the IDE constantly breaking and showing all of these errors.
NOTE1: I've done a 'invalidate cache and restart' more times than I can count. It doesn't fix this issue.
NOTE2: Run or Apply changes always works fine even with all of these highlighted errors due to missing databinding files/references
